This week children in the preschool room were able to make multicultural mask
At Petit Pearson Child Care Centre, we have four principle
- Belonging
- Well-being
- Engagement
- Expression
Every child at Petit Pearson childcare Center should feel like they belong in an environment that makes them feel that their welcomed by including diversity into each program it fosters a sense of belonging for each child & creates an atmosphere for children to learn, feel comfortable and to grow in their environment around them
The mask that were created by the children were a Native, African, European and Indian Mask to represent diversity and inclusion of all children in the preschool classroom.

The children loved painting the mask different colors and also adding each cultural uniqueness styles to the mask
As Fall is coming to an End and winter is around the corner
Children were able to create their own Fall tree with colorful leaf’s, by doing that; children were able to use paint and brush brushes by practicing their fine motor skills Finger grasping the Paint brush
Children in the preschool Room enjoy painting and creating many different Art experiences of how they observe and see the world in their own eyes.
