Dear Parents and Guardians,

In the toddler room, children have been busy enjoying making there Valentines day card for the people they love. Through this experience children have been learning there fine motor skills by gluing shape hearts on to the card. Furthermore, children are also increasing there language skills by learning words such as heart. red, pick and card.

Materials

• Construction paper (red  and pink)
• white paint
• glue
• glitter

Family Day Book 

Since family day is coming soon, children have been learning about different types of families Each day during circle time the educator would read a book about different members of the families. In Addition, children  are exposed to different cultures and different families member and learn about extended families. Furthermore, children are learning words to help develop there vocabulary.
