This week was a special day for Canadians as this Thursday was Canada Day.

This week in the preschool Room we decided to celebrate Canada Day; The Preschool children made Canadian Flags to represent Canada Day. Some children decided to make their flags differently from the original flag by creating lines and dots where the color red represents the flag.

O Canada! Our home and native land!
True patriot love in all of us command,
Car ton bras sait porter l’épée,
Il sait porter la croix!
Ton histoire est une épopée
Des plus brillants exploits,
God keep our land glorious and free!
O Canada, we stand on guard for thee.
O Canada, we stand on guard for thee.
Here a child is tracing the canada leaf flag
Here another child is painting the inside of the leaf red
The children in the preschool room decided to use their creativity and make their own unique Canadian flag with their own thoughts and ideas.

Preschool Graduation Ceremony

Congratulations to all Toddler/ Preschool Graduates.

The set-up

Today was a special Day for the preschoolers in the Room; Because today the children got to celebrate everything they accomplished in the preschool room and they are now ready to go to the kindergarten room and critically learn new ideas and skills sets

We celebrated by having a small ceremony with pictures, waffles, and ice cream and we also had a dance party with glow-in-the-dark sticks.

All children were really excited, had a lot of fun and loved the waffles with ice cream, and were able to say their goodbye’s to their friends.

Now that the children are moving up they have come such a long way and are ready to be kindergarteners; where they will be able to gain new skills such as

  • Problem-solving
  • Taking on challenges
  • critical thinking
  • interpersonal skills
  • creative thinking
  • exploration

and many more.

Due to cover-19 parents of the children in the preschool room were unable to join us, although photographs of the children were taken and shown to families.
